Grepolis: Popular Strategy Game Expanding to New Countries
News from 02/02/2012 3:22 pm
InnoGames has announced their plans to expand the realm of their free-to-play, ancient Greece strategy game, Grepolis, to even more players as development is underway for the localization in Turkey and Thailand.
As the browser-based strategy game, Grepolis, already has 12 million registered fans, publishers InnoGames are ready to expand the reach of the online game to new markets, namely in Turkey and Thailand.
This is in response to a large number of players of Grepolis requesting that the game be localized for their specific region/language. This will open up the doors for the strategy game to a large number of people who may not have been able to play in one of the game’s already available 21 languages.
This expansion is in addition to Grepolis already going mobile. Who knows how many empires are going to spring up now?
