It seems that everyone is getting ready to celebrate the Easter holidays and the free-to-play, browser-based strategy game, Grepolis, is certainly no exception. Publishers InnoGames are hosting the Easter Event 2012 and you’re invited.

Publishers InnoGames (Lagoonia, TribalWars) are making sure to celebrate the upcoming holiday with everyone and have announced that there is going to be something "egg-stra" special planned for the players of their free-to-play strategy game, Grepolis.

Starting today, you will be issued your very own chicken coop complete with an egg-laying chicken. However, these eggs are special as they are made of gold! You must feed your chicken to get more eggs, which can be spent in the Easter store.

The event is set to end on April 11th, but if you feel like upping your production, you do have the option of buying a second chicken. Just make sure to spend all of your eggs before the countdown runs out and enjoy the special items you can get in Grepolis for the holidays!
