The Olympic Games won’t just be taking place in London this year – publisher InnoGames have announced they will also be celebrating the games where they began in ancient Greece in their free-to-play, browser-based strategy game, Grepolis.

The online world of Grepolis is going to be a little more competitive as the Olympic Games are about to kick off in London, England. Publishers InnoGames (The West, Tribal Wars) have announced that there will be a special event going on to celebrate the games in the free-to-play strategy game.

A new peaceful world has been launched known as "Hyperborea". Here, players will not be able to conquer enemy's cities and will also not have to fear being conquered. The focus is on peacefully coexisting with your neighbors.
